Many of these products, including – therapeutic proteins, vaccines, cell-based and stem cell therapies, also need to generate preclinical information such as efficacy and safety assessment.

Stem cell

Stem cell therapy, also known as regenerative medicine, promotes the repair response of diseased, dysfunctional or injured tissue using stem cells or their derivatives. Stem cell technology is a rapidly developing field that combines the efforts of cell biologists, geneticists, and clinicians and offers hope of effective treatment for a variety of malignant and non-malignant diseases. However, to make these efforts fruitful preclinical research plays very important role.


At PRADO we support Stem cell research therapy by developing various models:
  1) In vitro Efficacy
  2) In vivo Efficacy
  3) Safety Studies including Acute, Sub-acute and Tumorigenicity Studies.

Vaccine

Infectious diseases cause an overwhelming number of deaths around the world and their clinical management is often hampered by the emergence of multidrug resistant strains. Therefore, prevention through vaccination is currently the best course of action to beat them.
A vaccine is a biological agent that provides active acquired immunity to a particular disease. However, it is necessary to prove immunogenic potential and evaluate safety of vaccine.


PRADO has a capability to perform following preclinical studies for vaccine:
  1) Immunogenicity Testing
  2) Detection of Antibody by ELISA
  3) Determination of Cytokine Profile.
  4) Determination of Cellular Immunity.
  5) Detection of Neutralizing antibodies.
