In vitro and Genotoxcity (IVG) Department is biosafety level 2 compliant and equipped to perform standard and highly specialized microbiological, cell-based and biochemical assays for a broad range of drug classes, agrochemicals, multiple biomarkers and different disease areas. IVG lab infrastructure covers in-vitro tissue culture lab, microbiology, media preparation and instrumentation lab.

Studies are conducted in accordance with national and international test guidelines and in compliance with OECD principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) wherever applicable. We have expert team of scientists who are proficient in conducting various assays and tests as per sponsor’s requirement. Recently, our team has standardized ‘Pig-A assay’ for identifying genotoxic potential about nitrosamine impurities.
